Event Description

At this event, we will provide you with the right tools to add to your business toolkit to not only survive but to thrive in business. Join us at Royal Queensland Yacht Squadron for this interactive morning with our two guest speakers: Michelle O’Hara, OH! Marketing and Karl Schwantes, My 5 Star Reviews.

In the first session, Michelle will work through an interactive session highlighting the 2023 traditional and digital marketing trends and cover:

  • The Must Have 9 P’s to an effective marketing strategy for 2023. 
  • Identifying the “new look” lead and how to convert it.

In the second session, Karl will work through his My 5 Star Review formula and help you achieve three important outcomes:

  • · Incontestable online reputation
  • · Flow of new business leads.
  • · Remarkable client experiences.

About Michelle O’Hara:

Michelle is an international speaker, workshop presenter and author, passionate about aligning Business with Branding, Marketing and Sales Strategies that generate revenue. Having run businesses for 15 years across different industries, she understands the need to build strong relationships through both traditional and digital marketing methods. Known in the market as a “pocket rocket networker”, she has an uncanny ability to identify and connect business owners to each other and to potential clients with fresh new ways of thinking.   She’s also an advocate for giving back as she Chairs the NOW Business Network as well as runs the Hills Chamber of Commerce Big Charity Breakfast each year. 

About Karl Schwantes:

About our MC Emily Moore: 

Emily Moore is a values-driven and collaborative business leader currently managing the Brisbane Business Hub, under the auspice of Brisbane Economic Development Agency, a Lord Mayors’ initiative to support and grow Brisbane Businesses in Brisbane.   Her experience comes from managing large projects with multinationals including Flights Centre, McDonalds, and Woolworths.

Located on the waterfront of Brisbane’s eastern Bayside suburb Manly, the Royal Queensland Yacht Squadron is home to one of this State’s oldest and most prestigious sailing and cruising clubs. Formed in 1885, the Squadron has a long history of supporting and encouraging sailing as a sport that continues today. Enjoy a sit down plated breakfast, fruit platters including tea and coffee station and juice.
