he Sub Branch was formed on the 26th September 1936 with many members coming from the nearby Wynnum RSL and also local citizens.  Members are Service or Ex-Service men and women who have come together for mutual support and to provide Welfare for Serving and Ex-Service persons.
 
Apart from the all important aspect of Welfare, our objective is to keep live the importance and memory of ANZAC Day, Vietnam Veterans Day and Remembrance Day.
 
Our executive committee meets regularly and memebers attend South East District and State conferences to keep members informed with up to date matters of interest to veterans and the community, a representative also attends Manly Chamer of Commerce meetings.
 
Personnel are available for attendance at Funerals to perform the traditional poppy service for the Ex-Service deceased and to assist at Citizen Member’s funerals if requested.
 
We are ordinary people trying to improve the welfare of our members and the community.
